Following the success of the Glasgow women's 10K and men’s 10k runs I wondered if there was any mileage in putting a group together to run in the Great Scottish run in Glasgow in September to raise funds for Scottish Ballet or The Tramway appeal. Last year 17000 runners took part. It would be nice to see some mony raised for the arts for a change. in the Great Scottish run in Sept to raise funds for Scottish Ballet or The Tramway apeal.

This sounds like a good idea. My partner and I have already entered for the 10K and would like to raise some money.

Perhaps the Tramway appeal could drum up some other runners so there was a group and we would alkso need some official sponsor forms to keep everything above board.

Hi - great idea...!

We now have a sponsorship form available to download, and you can create an online fundraising page at justgiving.com.

Links, downloads and details can all be found here:

Here's hoping we can drum up some great support!

Hi - I just found this forum and, although I haven't been to the ballet for a long time, I am keen to support. Before I do anything else, though, I wondered if you have a PayPal account?? It seems to me that I have money lurking in my paypal account which isn't enough to download to my bank account but which would be good to send to yours. If that's a possibility, that would be my preferred route just now.

Thanks
Margaret
