I've just seen this at the Festival Theatre and it was fantastic. The costumes were beautiful and the set design very unique and colourful. The entire ballet spoke to me, the graceful and danity movements were so enraturing, I wanted to get up on stage and join them despite not being a dancer. I loved the inclusion of other fairytale characters and the decison to move from 1830 to 1946 (two iconic periods in history). What I would have liked to see was the beautiful girl used in the billboards as Aurora, done up in velvets and surrounded by roses. And perhaps a thorn entwined castle. Despite that I enjoyed the production immensly and this has definetly whetted my apetite to see more live productions. Thanks for putting on such a wonderful and magical show.

| Richard Alston company put on a fantastic show in Glasgow on 20th Feb. Ashley Page and lots of Scottish Ballet dancers were there so perhaps we will see some exchange of ideas? certianly "To Dance and Skylark" was an amazing work and it would be great to see Scottish Ballet do it.
